2025 Community Listening Sessions
The 290 Extension Project gathered community feedback through virtual and in-person engagements in September and October 2025. From September 9 to October 10, a virtual listening session provided informational materials, including a video presentation, and allowed participants to share feedback through an online survey and interactive map. In addition, two Community Listening Sessions were held in Manor and Elgin, Texas, engaging more than 250 attendees. On September 23 at the Early Learning Center in Manor, over 100 attendees explored project informational materials, interacted with roll plot maps to provide location-based input, spoke directly with project staff to have questions answered, and shared feedback through surveys and comment cards. On September 25 at the ACC campus in Elgin, approximately 150 participants took part in a similar format.
